Trust model
How we keep community reports useful when it matters most.
Phone or email verification required to post
We verify everyone who submits or confirms a report — once, the first time you use the platform. Read-only access never asks.
Reports are timestamped
Every report shows how long ago it was posted. The age is always visible on the card and on the pin.
Photos and (soon) videos increase confidence weight
Reports with media are weighted higher and pinned with a camera icon on the map.
Reports auto-expire after 2 hours without confirmation
After two hours with no confirmation, a report drops to grey and is labelled stale until someone updates it.
Community can confirm or dispute any report
Tap Still accurate, This is wrong, or Update this report. Disputes outweighing confirmations downgrade the confidence.
Admin moderation can hide or remove reports
Flagged content goes to a moderation queue. Repeat abuse leads to suspension.
No points, no ranks, no leaderboards
Accuracy matters, not activity. We don't gamify reporting.
