By using How Long's The Wait? you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service.

1. Not an emergency service

This platform is not an emergency service. In an emergency, always contact your local emergency services and follow official advice. Nothing here should be relied on as official guidance.

2. Age requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or submit reports.

3. User-generated content

You are responsible for every report, photo, comment and note you submit. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display that content on the public map and related pages so long as the platform operates. You keep ownership of your content.

4. No accuracy or availability guarantee

Community reports are exactly that. We do not guarantee their accuracy, timeliness, completeness or the availability of the service. Reports can be wrong, out of date, or maliciously incorrect. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and are not liable for any loss or harm arising from decisions made using this platform.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Only report if it is safe to do so.
  • Don't impersonate emergency services, government, journalists or other users.
  • Don't submit photos or footage of identifiable third parties without their consent.
  • Don't submit deliberately false or exaggerated reports.

6. Prohibited content

No harassment, hate speech, doxxing, incitement to violence, deliberate false alarms, spam, or content that endangers others.

7. Moderation and enforcement

We may hide, remove or correct any report, and suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion, to keep the platform trustworthy.

8. Data and privacy

See our Privacy policy. Reports and your public display name are visible to anyone; email and phone are not.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Nothing here limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
